Sealed Bid Process

In a majority of instances, NCST uses a sealed bid process to fill Sponsorship slots. This allows for potential sponsors to provide their best price bid for the advertised sponsorship slot  without making their interest public. In some instances, NCST may, at its discretion, decide to use different means to select Sponsors.

Request for Bids

When a Sponsorship Topic is becoming available, NCST will make a post on the main Facebook Page requesting bids for the available Topic. This request will link to a page with all the specific details of that particular Sponsorship bid. This includes the submission cut off time and date.

While NCST strives to provide 72 hours for bid submission, shorter time periods may be required in order to meet specific business needs.

NCST will set a minimum bid, sometimes called a reserve bid, for each Sponsorship bid request. This minimum bid sets the lowest value NCST will accept for the Sponsorship and is intended to protect NCST while also promoting serious bids only.

Notification of Winning Bidder

Once bid submissions have been closed, we will verify that each bid meets the criteria set forth in the bid request. The highest submitted valid bid will be deemed the winner of the Sponsorship slot.

The winning bidder will be contacted via the phone number provided and notified of their winning bid. They will then be provided an invoice for payment. Payment is expected on the same day as winning the bid.

Notification of Non-winning Bidders

As soon as a winning bidder has completed the process to secure the Sponsorship, the non-winning bidders will be notified via email.

Payment

NCST currently uses PayPal Invoicing for all payments. PayPal securely accepts payments through bank, debit, and credit cards. Invoices will be sent to winning bidders via email, payment on the date of bid close is required so please ensure you have payment figured out before that period.
